A Tribute to our Fallen Comrades

"God pours life into death and death into life without a drop beilg spilled." - Anonymous

Rakesh Prakash lived an amazing life even though it was rather short. He was a great friend, someone who stood by you when you needed somebody.

What is it that we remember when we think of Rakesh? I think everyone who knew him well will agree with me on this. It was his integrity and his sense of humour. He was the kind of person who could make you laugh and would stick by your side through thick and thin. What we will miss about Rakesh the most is his dedication and ctribution to sports, especially cricket.

Rakesh's death was sudden. I remember when we heard the news, we simply could not believe it. He was too young, but as it slowly occurred to us, we realized that Rakesh indeed lived his life wonderfully.

We will forever be grateful to have known Rakesh. I will be grateful that Rakesh and I were a part of the same cricket team for many years and I will forever be grateful for spending over 10 years of my life with a friend like him.

All the memories we have shared with him will forever be cherished and remembered. Rakesh will forever be in my heart... our hearts.

"If god brings you to it... he will take you through it." FRP

Rateesh, another one of our fallen companions will never be forgotten. He too lived a great but short life.

He was a dedicated young boy who had the world in his stride. It was really unfortunate that he had to leave us at such a tender age. He was someone who was full of life with a never say die attitude.

Rateesh too will be forever cherished and remembered. He too will forever be in our hearts.

We will take them both along with us, no matter where we go, and they will always be a part of us. That's the Germanite way, we will never fade out.

"The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." - Mark Twain

The Germanite reunion of the 2001 batch!

Pack your bags, as we head to the sunny beaches of Mangalore. A well deserved weekend break for all our guys. It’s been some time since we caught up. Let’s just play some football, cricket, listen to great music, guzzle loads of beer, network, speak about our teachers, share the photos of school we have, share school secrets all this while facing a pristine blue beach at Mangalore. The rough budget for the 3 days should be less than 3 K. Book your dates from the 8th of October for just one weekend.

What you waiting for call Frank Rausan @ +91 90354 45274 or +91 98442 07229

Please post this on your blogs, send it friends my mail, Twitter, Orkut, Facebook, SMS, call people… whatever, let the word spread and we shall have the biggest out of Bangalore reunion!
